Are you a Liar Mr. Obama?

Someone is lying:

Yesterday, Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich was arrested for trying to sell Obama's senate seat, as I'm sure you all know. Blagojevich didn't see why he should just give it away for free: "I've got this thing and it's [expletive] golden and uh, uh, I'm not just giving it up for [expletive] nothing."

Obama claims he knew nothing of what was going on: "I had no contact with the governor or his office and so we were not, I was not aware of what was happening."

Yes, I'm sure Obama did not care who was taking his Senate seat and never talked to the governor about who his pick would be. Of course not. I believe you Obama.

However, Obama's senior adviser David Axelrod appeared on Fox News Chicago on November 23 and said something a little different. While insisting that the President-elect had not expressed a favorite to replace him, and his inclination was to avoid being a "kingmaker," Axelrod said, "I know he's talked to the governor and there are a whole range of names many of which have surfaced, and I think he has a fondness for a lot of them." Axelrod has since said he misspoke.

Hmmm, I think this whole thing smells. I don't think Obama would be involved in something so stupid as selling his senate seat or keeping quite while the idiot governor sold the seat, so why does he deny even speaking to him at all??? Why not say, "yes, I've spoken to him about the senate seat but I certainly wasn't aware that any of this was going on"?

Someone is lying, either Obama or Axelrod.

Obama is not the bad guy. In fact, he's helping us by lowering the cost of money for people, increasing grant funds, and more as a bailout package for us.
