I can't decide if he should be called a green president b/c he claims to be an environmentalist, or a red because he's a socialist.
This morning I heard on Fox & Friends that Obama's flying in Air Force One to Denver to sign the spendulus package in the Denver Museum of Nature & Science which "is meant to underscore the investments the new law will make in "green" energy-related jobs."
Do you know how much fuel it takes to get Air Force One from D.C. to Denver? They said 10,000 gallons, although I didn't catch whether that was one-way or round-trip. They said that's what an average American will consume in 30 years.
So he will spend 10 or 20 thousand gallons of fuel to sign a massive debt package that will show what a "green" president he is? Not that I think the Pres. of the US should be riding a bike or flying commercial, but I don't think he should waste thousands of gallons of fuel in order to show how environmentally conscious he is. Sounds kind of like him lecturing Americans they can't keep their thermostats at 72 degrees while keeping his office extremely hot in the middle of the winter.
Also, here's an interesting post from redstate.com, outlining Obama's outright lie during the campaign that he will not sign any non-emergency bill without giving the American people five days to read it.
