OBAMA = One Big Ass Mistake America.
Obama unveiled his new plan to save the housing industry. It's called the "Homeowner Affordability and Stability Plan". (I would call it the "Reward Those Who Make Poor Choices and Punish Those Who Do Pay Their Mortgages Every Month Plan). It will cost us $75 Billion (which I'm sure is lowballing it).
Did you know that under the plan, homeowners who aren't making their payments will get a special, modified loan? To reward them for making their payments on time under their new mortgage, now they'll get $1,000 taken directly off the principal of their loan every year for 5 years!!! Now wait a second, we've been in our home almost 6 years and we've never missed a payment, where's my $5,000 off the principal??? Oh, that's right, we did what we were supposed to do, so we don't qualify.
Did you know the program will allow bankruptcy judges to just come in and modify mortgages?
Did you know that banks who agree to new mortgage deals with favorable terms for these homeowners who aren't paying will get cash as an incentive?
Where is the money for this coming from? It's going to take billions to pay these banks and these deadbeat homeowners. The cash comes from us, people who do pay their mortgages. So we are financing other people's mistakes.
Obama has obviously not heard that you don't reward failure and punish success. You can read more about this Obaminable plan here.

Change You Can Believe In
This is so true, from one of my favorite radio talk show hosts (Neil Boortz).
CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN
The Dow at a 10-year low.
A tax cheat running the IRS
Another tax cheat as the Chief of Staff
A trillion-dollar plus federal deficit
Over one-half of voters relieved of any federal tax liability
Government mandated limits on executive compensation
Three failed attempts and still no Commerce Secretary
Tom Daschle rides his free limo into the sunset - after paying taxes he evaded.
The White House performance czar turns out to be a tax cheat also
Lobbyists hired to work for the Obama Administration
The census gets politicized
Double government spending in one year
The word "freedom" fades into obscurity
Increasing home loan mortgage rates across the board
Millions of Americans made dependent on government
Moving unionization-by-intimidation forward
Welfare checks become "tax cuts."
Illegal aliens free to work on taxpayer-funded "stimulus" projects
Welfare reform reversed, states ordered to increase welfare roles
Move to silence critical talk radio shows
Selling Senate seats
Obama books in religious sections of book stores
More government workers, not private sector jobs
A government bureaucracy to intrude on doctor/patient relationships
Stage set for medical services rationing
Annual welfare checks for middle income families

Obama the Green, Follow-Up
A follow-up on my Obama-nation from yesterday, about Obama burning tens of thousands of gallons of fuel to fly to Colorado so he could sign his spendulus bill in a "green" environment. According to michellemalkin.com,
Thought you might find this interesting - according to the info I found on Boeing’s website and elsewhere, the 747-200 that operates as Air Force One uses anywhere from 5 to 7 gallons of fuel per mile, depending on how full it is. At roughly 1500 miles from DC to Denver, that’s at least 15,000 gallons of fuel round trip. There are 33.4 kilowatt hours of energy in a gallon of fuel, meaning this trip will use about 500,000 kilowatt hours of energy. According to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science’s own website, their solar installation has generated only 90,000 kilowatt hours of energy since it was installed last June!
In addition, Biden went to the "historic" signing of this bill too. Do you think he and Obama rode in the same plane? Why no, of course not, Biden took Air Force Two.
Gee, wouldn't it be nice to have a president who actually recognized what things cost, and tried to save the US money on things, including travel expenses? I wonder if there are any politicians out there who actually do things like that? Hmmm, I can think of one who chose to fly commercial and sold her state's airplane on ebay to save money for the state.

Is Obama Green or Red?
I can't decide if he should be called a green president b/c he claims to be an environmentalist, or a red because he's a socialist.
This morning I heard on Fox & Friends that Obama's flying in Air Force One to Denver to sign the spendulus package in the Denver Museum of Nature & Science which "is meant to underscore the investments the new law will make in "green" energy-related jobs."
Do you know how much fuel it takes to get Air Force One from D.C. to Denver? They said 10,000 gallons, although I didn't catch whether that was one-way or round-trip. They said that's what an average American will consume in 30 years.
So he will spend 10 or 20 thousand gallons of fuel to sign a massive debt package that will show what a "green" president he is? Not that I think the Pres. of the US should be riding a bike or flying commercial, but I don't think he should waste thousands of gallons of fuel in order to show how environmentally conscious he is. Sounds kind of like him lecturing Americans they can't keep their thermostats at 72 degrees while keeping his office extremely hot in the middle of the winter.
Also, here's an interesting post from redstate.com, outlining Obama's outright lie during the campaign that he will not sign any non-emergency bill without giving the American people five days to read it.

Just Try to Silence Me, Obama
A statement from the White House warned us "not to expect instant miracles from the $787 billion economic stimulus bill he will sign this week, but said it would help eventually.” White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said “the economy is going to get worse before it gets better.” Click here to read more. Wow, so we spent almost $1 trillion to "help the economy improve" but it's not actually going to do that anytime soon? Thanks, thanks a lot Obama.
This scares me worse than anything Obama has done so far: The Fairness Doctrine. In case you haven't heard of it, it is an old FCC rule that said that if you hold a radio broadcasting license and you present political ideas on your airwaves, you must present both sides equally. Extremely popular conservative radio talk show hosts like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity would be off the air, because none of their listeners care to listen to liberal nonsense. In fact, really no one cares to listen to liberal nonsense on the radio, as evidenced by the huge failures of almost every liberal talk radio host out there, and the huge successes of conservatives. Recently, there have been new rumblings among Democrats about reintroducing the Fairness Doctrine.
Back in March 2008, "Senator Obama does not support re-imposing the Fairness Doctrine on broadcasters,” said press secretary Michael Ortiz.
Now, however, his advisors aren't as definite that Obama doesn't support the Fairness Doctrine. Two of his top mouthpieces are now refusing to answer whether Obama would support it or not. Click here to read more.
If they take away talk radio from me, I swear I will not sit idly by. Let's keep an eye on this and see what the Obam-inable one has in store to silence conservatives.

What's Your Hurry, Obama?
Remember how utterly urgent it was to get that spendulus bill passed? The bill was released on Friday night and just HAD to be signed less than 24 hours later, even though it was 1,071 pages. Meaning none of the Senators or Representatives voting on it really had a chance to read it.
Well guess what, Obama is taking a long romantic Valentine's Day weekend off work, so the bill won't be signed into law until Tuesday anyway. Call me crazy, but what was wrong with waiting until Tuesday for the House and Senate to vote on it, then allowing Obama to sign it into law the same day? Is it because it contains so much crap that they were scared to let the American people read it?

Your Plan Disgusts Me, Obama
I am completely disgusted with Obama and his spendulus plan. The bill was released last night at 11 pm, is somewhere around 700 pages, and MUST be voted on today, before anyone's even read it. The biggest single spending plan in our nation's history, and no one's allowed to read it!
Did you know that the bill released is in non-searchable form, meaning that if you want to find something in it, you have to read the entire thing, you can't just search for certain words? I am too disgusted to put a coherent Obama-nation together for today. How about I just throw together some of quotes of the big spending liberal?
Speaking in Ohio on March 1, 2008, Obama said, "America is at its best when it's not fearful. I mean, if you think of our history, our most shameful times have been when we were afraid."
Speaking last week, he said that if we don't pass this spendulus bill, "This recession might linger for years. Our economy will lose 5 million more jobs. Unemployment will approach double digits. Our nation will sink deeper into a crisis that, at some point, we may not be able to reverse."
That sounds pretty fearful to me Obam-inable one!
On Obama's first full day in office, he said "The way to make government responsible is to hold it accountable. And the way to make government accountable is make it transparent so that the American people can know exactly what decisions are being made, how they're being made, and whether their interests are being well-served."
How is strong arming legislators into signing something they haven't read and the American people haven't read transparency?
